Police Station Mein Bhoot: Manoj Bajpayee Reunites With Ram Gopal Varma for Haunted Cop Drama

Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) officially announced his next big project titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. The film reunites him with acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee after nearly 27 years since their cult classic Satya. Actress Genelia Deshmukh also joins the cast in this unique horror comedy that blends fear with fun.

On September 1, the makers unveiled a chilling motion poster that instantly grabbed attention. The poster shows Manoj Bajpayee dressed as a cop, holding a terrifying blood-soaked doll, while an eerie whisper says, “I see you.” The poster also highlights the intriguing tagline: “You can’t arrest the dead.”

A Unique Concept Behind the Film

Ram Gopal Varma explained that the story follows a dreaded gangster who dies in an encounter. His ghost then returns to haunt the police station where he once ruled. This twist challenges the idea of safety and puts the lawmen in fear. As RGV wrote on social media, “You run to the police when scared. But where will the police run, when they get scared?”

Manoj Bajpayee openly expressed his excitement about reuniting with RGV. He called it a “full circle” moment and shared, “From Satya to now, some journeys are meant to come full circle. I feel thrilled to reunite with @RGVzoomin after nearly three decades for this special horror comedy.”

Genelia Deshmukh also showed her excitement. She said she stepped for the first time into a world where fear meets fun and praised the refreshing concept of the film.

Production and Backing

Several production houses back Police Station Mein Bhoot, including Vauve Emirates, Karma Media and Entertainment, U Entertainment, Emirates Media Productions LLC, and RGV Aarvii Productions. The team recently began shooting and plans to finish it in quick schedules. The makers will announce the release date and complete cast details later.
