Pawan Kalyan’s Strong Warning to Celebrities & Influencers Over National Security Comments

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has issued a stern warning to celebrities and social media influencers regarding their comments on national security. He was addressing the media shortly after Operation Sindoor, a bold mission conducted by the Indian Armed Forces targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. This operation came as a response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

Pawan Kalyan firmly cautioned public figures not to post irresponsible or ill-informed opinions on sensitive topics like military action. He compared such posts to “dogs barking on the streets” and urged influencers to stay silent unless they truly understand the matter. According to him, national issues, especially related to military operations, should not be handled with carelessness or used for gaining online attention.

Clear Warning Against Anti-National Rhetoric on Social Media

Pawan emphasized that any content seen as anti-national or against national interest will face strict legal action. He stated that celebrities and influencers must think twice before making any comment about the Indian Army or national security. “You don’t even know A, B, C of safeguarding the nation’s borders. So please don’t bark on social media,” he said, referring to the background noise of dogs during his speech as a metaphor for meaningless online chatter.

He directed people to report any anti-national content to the cybercrime department and said that he had already spoken to the state’s Director General of Police (DGP). Anyone from Andhra Pradesh who disrespects or goes against national security measures will be booked under serious charges, he warned.

Pawan Backs Operation Sindoor, Salutes Armed Forces

Speaking on Operation Sindoor, Pawan Kalyan praised the Indian Armed Forces for their precise and bold action. He thanked the chiefs of the three military services and appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for backing the forces without hesitation. “After years of excessive patience, Bharat has shown its strength,” he wrote, expressing pride in the nation’s ability to stand up against terrorism.

Chandrababu Naidu Also Supports Armed Forces’ Strike

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also praised Operation Sindoor, calling it a powerful message to those behind terrorism. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he saluted the bravery of Indian soldiers and affirmed that India will never tolerate attacks on its people.
