Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has strongly reacted to the ongoing controversy surrounding the Tirumala Laddu issue, which has caused outrage across the Hindu community following reports of contaminated ghee used in the sacred prasadam. Expressing deep concern over the matter, Kalyan emphasized the urgent need to establish a Sanatana Parirakshana Board to safeguard the sentiments and sanctity of Hindu traditions.

In his detailed statement, the Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that for the global Hindu community, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is not just a pilgrimage site but a sacred spiritual destination that embodies faith and devotion. “The Tirupati Laddu is not just a sweet it’s a shared emotion that connects millions of devotees. It symbolizes our collective belief and divine trust,” Kalyan remarked.

He noted that over 2.5 crore devotees visit Tirumala every year, and any act that undermines or mocks Sanatani beliefs deeply hurts the sentiments of millions. “When the traditions and practices of Sanatanis are disrespected, it doesn’t just cause pain it shakes the faith of people across the world,” he said.

Making a bold appeal, Pawan Kalyan called for the creation of a ‘Sanatana Parirakshana Board,’ asserting that secularism must work both ways. “Protection and respect for our faith cannot be negotiable. Our Sanatana Dharma is one of the world’s oldest and most enduring civilizations. It’s high time we form a Sanatana Dharma Parirakshana Board with the consensus of all stakeholders,” he declared.

Sources close to the Deputy Chief Minister say that his strong response stems from a commitment to preserve the Sanatani spirit and ensure accountability in matters concerning sacred traditions. The proposal for the Sanatana Parirakshana Board is expected to spark significant discussion in political and spiritual circles alike, as it aims to establish a structured mechanism for the protection of Hindu faith and customs.
