The film “Passion” unfolds the realm of fashion on the Telugu screen, presenting a love story set in a fashion designing college. Starring Sudhish Venkat and Ankita Saha, the movie is produced by Dr. Arun Mondithoka, Narasimha, and A. Padmanabha Reddy under the banner of Tholu Bommalata Films. Notably, acclaimed fashion designer Arvind Joshua makes his directorial debut with “Passion,” having previously worked with renowned directors like Shekhar Kammula, Madan, and Mohana Krishna Indraganti. The official launch of “Passion” took place in Hyderabad, where esteemed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, known for his sensible approach, clapped for the opening scene, and MLC Arun Kumar switched on the camera. Director Venu Udugula directed the inaugural shot, with producer Padmanabha Reddy handing over the script to director Arvind Joshua.
During the event, producer Arun Mondithoka expressed confidence in Aravind’s commitment to crafting an uncompromised and honest storyline, emphasizing it as the film’s strength. Director Sekhar Kammula commended Aravind for consistently seeking his input throughout the script and pre-production stages, ensuring appropriate casting and drawing parallels with the success of “Happy Days,” as both films feature a fresh-faced cast. Director Venu Udugula, having read the “Passion” story, lauded Aravind as a writer with insightful ideas and a firm grasp on literature, anticipating a similar impact as a director.
Producer A. Padmanabha Reddy found the script engaging, prompting him to become a production partner for the film. Director Aravind Joshua expressed gratitude to producers Arun and Padmanabha Reddy for their unwavering belief in the story, emphasizing their commitment to narrating the subject honestly.
