Producer Susmitha Konidela, the daughter of Megastar Chiranjeevi, is bringing out an OTT Original titled ‘Paruvu’. To be streamed on ZEE5 from June 14, its Trailer is out.
No prizes for guessing that the title ‘Paruvu’ denotes the major theme of the show: ‘honour killings’, a blot on our society. “Years after being disowned by their families for defying the caste system, Sudheer (played by Naresh Agastya) and Pallavi (Nivetha Pethuraj) return to their hometown due to a tragic event. They soon find themselves caught up in an accidental death. Can they navigate the complex web of caste, love, revenge, politics, and honor to find their way out?” the makers say, putting out a synopsis of the show.
The film boasts a supporting cast featuring Naga Babu in a key role, alongside Sunil Kommisetty, Praneetha Patnaik, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Moeen, Amith Twari, and more. Gold Box Entertainments is behind the production.
The ZEE5 Original is directed by Siddharth Naidu and Vadlpati Rajashekar. Siddharth Naidu also penned the screenplay and dialogues. Shravan Bharadwaj composed the music.
