Maa Oori Polimera-2, the sequeal of Maa Oori Polimera stayed to the promise done by the director and Cast at the pre-release event. The film helmed by Anil Viswath with Satyam Rajesh and Dr.Kamakshi Bhaskarla in the lead roles.
Kudos to the director who stuck to the core plot and making sure that the audience doesn’t get the feel missing the part-1 if they have not watched it yet. Ofcourse not, there is recap of part 1 in the first 10 minutes of the movie and the audience will be grooved to the story.
The director had shown exceptioanl skill in utilizing all technical aspects and the movie is unique genre in telugu film Industry.
Plot:
The plot begins with Jangayya( Baladitya) leaving home in search of his elder brother Komurayya(Satyam Rajesh) and Lakshmi (Kamakshi Bhaskarla) with her son stay beside Balija (Getup Seenu) who helps her like a brother being sober. But Balija’s wife stays away from him due to financial issues.
The story moves to Himachal Pradesh in search for ancient Indian Literature and returns the village Jaastipalli with new CI (Rakendu Mouli) joining in Jaastipalli and opens Jangayya missing case due to words of advise from head constable and starts investigation.
Meanwhile, a head from the Archeology department is interested in the temple is jaastipalli and discuss with the village sarpanch.
Balija who wears Ayyappa Mala goes to Kerala and unexpectedly meets Komurayya scaredly as he is aware of his black magic.
Why Komurayya is performing Black Magic, what does the Archeology department Want from the temple in Jaastipalli, What did the CI do to catch Jangayya and what happened to Balija’s wife? How is the temple connected to other temples in India? forms the remaining interesting part of the story.
Performances:
All the lead and supporting cast gave their best in the movie and even a few lag scenes were exceptionally acted and shot.
Satyam Rajesh should be given 10% applause for his performance in the pre-interval scene and the scene where the ritual is performed in the temple where literally hundreds of snakes crawl around and over him.
Kamkshi Bhaskarla’s performance will be remembered for pleading for her Son’s education and the other is suspense to the audience to be thrilled only to be watched in the theater.
Getup Seenu and Rakendu Mouli almost carried the story and equally praised with lead actors.
The music and Bgm are on the spot and the music director is note-worthy.
Verdict:
Maa Oori Polimera-2 is not just all about black magic in rural areas but also gives a hint at the solution of how people can eradicate these black magic rituals and why education is important. All genre audiences can enjoy the film as it carries Moral Values, Commercial Values, and educational information to thrilling entertainment.
