NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Scheduled for June 21 After Cancellation Over Paper Leak Allegations

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination will now be held on Sunday, June 21, following the cancellation of the original exam due to alleged paper leak issues. The decision has been approved by the Government of India.

The announcement was made through the NTA’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, bringing clarity to more than 22 lakh medical aspirants who were left uncertain after the May 3 exam was cancelled.

“National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on Sunday, 21 June 2026,” the agency stated in its official post.

The May 3 NEET UG exam was officially cancelled on May 12, triggering widespread confusion among candidates regarding the revised schedule, admit card release, and the admission process.

With the new date confirmed, the NTA has urged students and parents to follow only official communication channels for accurate and updated information regarding the examination.
