Naga Chaitanya’s New Film NC24 Starts Shoot in Hyderabad

Naga Chaitanya, who recently delivered a massive success with Thandel, has now begun work on his 24th film, NC24. Director Karthik Varma Dandu, who earlier impressed with Virupaksha, leads this mythical thriller. After months of intense pre-production, the team kicked off the shoot today at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. They are making the film on a grand scale and plan to deliver a powerful cinematic experience.

Grand Set and Lead Cast Join the Fresh Schedule

The team built a special set in Hyderabad for the current shooting schedule. Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary, who plays the female lead, are actively shooting key scenes. Sparsh Shrivastava, who gained recognition from Laapataa Ladies, is playing the main villain. The makers will continue this schedule for about 15 days, focusing on major sequences involving the main characters.

Mystical Thriller Blends Horror and Mythology

NC24 tells a gripping tale that blends spirituality, mythology, and horror. The filmmakers aim to bring a fresh storyline that fans haven’t seen from Naga Chaitanya before. They plan to include extensive CG visuals to enhance the storytelling and create a visually grand experience. Chaitanya takes on a bold new role that shows his interest in exploring unique characters and genres.

Top Technical Talent Powers NC24

Director Sukumar spent nearly a month in Dubai working on the script and locked the final draft with the team. BVSN Prasad and Sukumar Writings have joined forces to produce this big-budget project under the banners SVCC and Sukumar Writings.

Ajaneesh Loknath, who delivered memorable music in Virupaksha, composes the soundtrack. Shamdat handles cinematography, while National Award-winner Naveen Nooli oversees the editing. Nagendra takes charge of the art direction and continues to earn praise for his exceptional set design.

NC24 Set for Pan-India Release This Year

The team plans to release NC24 across India later this year. With such a talented cast and crew, the film has already created strong buzz among fans and film circles. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya has also committed to another film with debutant director Kishore, which Arka Media Works will produce. That project will go on floors later this year.
