Naga Chaitanya denies web series 'Maya Sabha' gossip

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who recently made his OTT debut with the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Dhootha’ (directed by Vikram K Kumar), has addressed rumors about his involvement in a new web series titled ‘Maya Sabha’. Directed by Deva Katta, the same director behind the films ‘Prasthanam’ and ‘Auto Nagar Surya’, the series had been rumored to feature the ‘Manam’ and ‘Majili’ actor in the lead role.

However, Chaitanya’s team has officially denied these reports, stating that the actor is currently focused on his upcoming theatrical release, ‘Thandel’. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starring Sai Pallavi, ‘Thandel’ is a pan-Indian film produced by GA2 Pictures.

Chaitanya has been in the news over his impending marriage with Sobhitha Dhulipala. Their wedding will take place soon.

As for Deva Katta, he was planning to make a political drama with Pawan Kalyan in the lead. The same has now become a distant dream for him, given that PK is an elected representative juggling governance and pending film commitments.
