The Outreach Club of Mahindra University, in collaboration with the Mahesh Babu Foundation (MB Foundation), recently organized the “Heartathon: A Run to Support Children Battling with Congenital Heart Disease.” This noble initiative aimed to raise awareness and funds for the critical cause of children’s heart health.
Taking place on March 16th at KBR Park, the event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 300 individuals, who ran either a 3 km or 5 km route. Heartathon, with its emphasis on inclusivity, offered separate categories for both girls and boys, ensuring that everyone could contribute to this worthy cause.
Namrata Shirodkar, co-founder of the Mahesh Babu Foundation, graced the occasion with her presence and personally honored the winners during the awards ceremony.
