Satyam Rajesh, Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskar’s hero and heroine. Getup Srinu, Rakendu Mouli, Baladitya, Sahithi Dasari, Ravi Varma, Movie Srinu, Akshatha Srinivas in the main roles of the movie Ma Uri Poli Mera-2. Dr. Anil Viswanath is the director of this movie which is being produced by Gaurikrishna under the submission of Gauru Ganababu. The film, which is being made as a sequel to Ma Uri Polimera, is going to be released worldwide on November 3. Eminent distributor Vamsikrishna Nandipati is releasing the film worldwide. Recently, the heroine Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskar informed the media.
First of all, what will you say about the movie?
If you haven’t seen ‘Ma Uri Polimera’ part 1, watch it immediately on Hot Star. All those who have seen the first part in OTT will surely be surprised to see ‘Ma Uri Polimera 2’ which will be released in theaters tomorrow on November 3. The production values in this part 2 are very high. Casting is also seen more. Some people have doubts as it is a sequel. Like ‘F2’, ‘F3’ is thought to be different. There is no such thing. Part 2 starts from where part ends. In Part 1, the last 20 minutes were talked about as liked by everyone. But the whole of Part 2 sounds like that. The movie moves forward with a thrill every 15 minutes.
The first part will be released in OTT and the second part will be released in theatres.. how do you feel?
I acted as an assistant director in this film. From the director’s point of view, I would also like to release this movie in theatres, if I say that it has such content… Anil’s well-known face is not in it. Why the risk? He said that after seeing the result of Part 1, Part 2 will be released in theatres. We thought so before.
What is your role in this?
I played a very patient character in the first part. But my character was given the scope to cultivate all kinds of emotions in that too. I look more aggressive in this. My role is very important.
Like the flash back episode in the first part.. any plans for this too? How important is your role in it?
There will be a flash back episode but.. not that something was put on purpose.. every scene has importance. It will be known only after watching the movie till the end. Every character has importance in it. Even if this character is not there, it does not seem to matter anywhere. It is a good screenplay based movie. Everyone who goes out after watching the movie takes Lakshmi’s character out. My role in this will connect everyone.
Does that mean that part 2 is understood only after watching part 1? Will the film connect with new viewers?
Whether you watched part 1 or not.. part 2 will connect everyone. So Anil sir designed this movie. We recap the whole of part 1 in 4 minutes starting part 2. So.. that problem will not exist.. If you watch this part, you will almost feel like you have seen two parts. Since the release of the trailer of Part 2, there have been reports that the number of people watching Part 1 on OTT has increased. That means people are very interested to watch this part 2.
Tell us about your journey?
I may be known to everyone by now. With ‘Virupaksha, Saitan, Polimera 1 and 2’ appearing consecutively, it seems that I have appeared less on the screen, but my journey started from Miss India 2018. Leaving medicine aside, I went around production houses for films. If the name comes after this movie.. what I have done.. everything will go back and see. Akhil continued to act in films like ‘Most Eligible Bachelor, Rowdy Boys, Itlu Maredumilli Prajanikam’. No one knew because of the lack of recognition. With the hits of this year, everyone is remembering me. So far I have done 3 web series on ‘Aha’. What did not come easily.. All this is the recognition of my efforts for 5 years.
Do you, a doctor actor, believe in black magic?
I have no opinion on them..not as a doctor..as a human being I don’t care. I am the type of person who will believe someone.. take my hair and show me.. then I will believe. I don’t believe in black magic.
He turned from a doctor to an actor.. He also says that direction.. Do you mean interest in direction?
Many people have dreamed. They say they want to be like this. But I didn’t want to become an actor and a director. I like science and arts. I learned classical dance. Some theatrical arts were done as part of Arts. Then I got into acting with the thought that I can do other characters as well. I love writing. Chalangari’s involvement is more on me. I said the same to Anil in Polimera 1 time. I said that apart from being an actor, I want to increase awareness of all crafts. If I know that.. I will have more respect for the movie. That’s why I also became a part of the department in the direction. Those who work in one craft.. look down on those in another craft. I have seen this in the industry. I have taken such a decision that I don’t want to get that shame. I also wrote dialogues for this movie. I was also very involved in the script.
Will it be continued?
Definitely will. I believe I have that capacity. Female directors are very few. Direction can also be done in the future.
Does your family have anything to do with cinema?
Yes.. My father is a DOP. He has worked as cinematographer and second unit cameraman for some films in the industry. Don’t think I have any back support for that. Everything here is created by myself. People like Kalpanarai and Rambha are our relatives. There are people who are relative to my family in all departments but.. I didn’t take anyone’s help. I faced some insults. But I took it challenging.
How is your bonding with other artists?
If you tell me a scene once, no matter what kind of artist I am facing.. have I done my scene perfectly or not? I will see. Once my scene is done I get ready again and take care of other craft. I have scenes with everyone in this movie. Did not feel discomfort with anyone. I got a very good space on the sets of this movie.
Since the first part was OTT.. there were some adult dialogues.. now the theatrical release.. what precautions were taken?
In the case of the first part, we also faced this from some people. That’s why Anil took great care in this part and trimmed all such dialogues. The family audience can also watch this movie without any objection. Limits are not exceeded.
Who is your inspiration? What do you mean?
I mostly watch K. Viswanathgari’s movies. I read a lot of books. I feel the same way about all those who wrote those books. But I did not see them. I know my mom is my inspiration. He has done so much for me. Both are very friendly. He also made this movie as his co-producer.
