Victory Venkatesh 75 Milestone, Most Awaited Movie ‘Saindhav’. Directed by the very talented director Shailesh Kolanu, this film is coming to the audience as a Sankranthi gift. The already released teaser, songs and trailer have created huge buzz with tremendous response. The film is ambitiously produced by the famous producer Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment and is going to release on January 13. In this context, producer Venkat Boyanapalli shared the features of the film in a press conference.
How did the Saindhav project start?
Venkatesh is my favorite hero. I saw the trailer of Shailesh Kolanu’s ‘Hit’ while doing Shyam Singharai’s film with Nani. Me and Nani liked it very much. I am already familiar with Shailesh. We thought it would be good to make a film with Venkatesh. Shailesh met Venkatesh. Their wavelengths are well matched. Venkatesh liked the story told by Shailesh very much. I was very surprised that the project was done within 24 hours. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to do Venkatesh’s 75th film.
Did you already know that this is Venkatesh’s 75th film?
I wish to work with Venkatesh. Director Shailesh went alone and got the project OK. Credit goes to him in this regard. It is known that this is Venkatesh’s 75th film. But it is not known whether he will agree or not. We have done our best. I told the same thing to Venkatesh. ‘It’s all destiny’ said Venkatesh.
It has a huge cast like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arya, Andrea.. Did it seem more expensive in terms of budget?
This story is huge. When you think of the story, you know that this is an expensive movie. We have built it in a very grand manner according to the story.
Family stories are different for Sankranti.. Action stories like this are rare, aren’t they?
The sheer emotion of ‘Saindhav’ brings tears to one’s eyes. When coming out of the movie, the audience will see tears with great emotion in their eyes. ‘Saindhav’ is a good family movie with new age action.
How did it feel that Venkatesh took special care and attended college events in promotions?
Venkatesh is very funny. Very happy with the content of the movie. He is naturally very active. Promotional events were done with great enjoyment.
Are you trying a little different music in your films?
It depends on any subject. Shyam Singarai wants soft music. Mickey Jay Mayer has given some nice music. Saindhav’s action and emotion are larger. Santhosh Narayan has done very well.
Naturally, immediately after the success of a movie, the producers give advances to the heroes and directors.. but you don’t see that tendency.. the reason?
I feel like working with my favorite people. Nani made two films with me and made me a producer. I liked him from the beginning. I also like Venkatesh very much. I am happy to have done films with two of my favorite heroes. You have to work with everyone. But there is nothing to think about when you make a movie with your loved ones.
Who came up with the idea of ’Venky 75′ celebration?
This is Rana’s idea. We wanted to do a special when the movie started. Rana said the idea of the ceremony. That credit goes to Rana.
Does Ravi Teja’s ‘Eagle’ postponement help you more?
Procrastination is his forte. We think it will benefit everyone.
We heard that you are thinking of doing a multi-starrer with Venkatesh and Nani?
Yes, Venkatesh and Nani are my favorite heroes. I have done films with both of them separately. My dream is to do a multistart movie with both of them. I will try to do it. I will enjoy whoever does it.
