Kota Bommali PS

Rahul Vijay, who plays the role of a constable named Ravi in the political survival thriller ‘Kota Bommali PS,’ emphasizes the content-driven and fast-paced nature of the film. GA 2 Pictures is gearing up for a grand theatrical release of the movie on November 24, directed by Teja Marni and produced by Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi.

In an interview, the young actor expresses his excitement about working with producers Bunny Vass and Vidya akka, highlighting their fantastic treatment on set. Despite his youth, Vass garu’s respectful demeanor towards him as ‘Rahul garu’ has left a positive impression.

The film, an adaptation of ‘Nayattu,’ draws inspiration from the storyline but takes a unique approach, presenting a fast-paced narrative distinct from the Malayalam original. Rahul Vijay sees ‘Kota Bommali PS’ as a significant opportunity, praising director Teja Marni’s previous work in ‘Johar.’ The positive feedback from industry stalwarts Allu Aravind garu and Vass garu further adds to the film’s anticipation.

Set in the village of Kota Bommali near Srikakulam, the movie explores the impact of a local police station on the lives of characters played by Srikanth, Rahul Vijay, and Shivani Rajasekhar. Rahul hints at an emotionally charged last 30 minutes, promising to immerse the audience in a compelling mood.

Contrary to expectations, the film refrains from delivering any political message and is not specific to any particular state but addresses the broader context of the country. Rahul Vijay assures that the film does not impose any views on the audience, allowing them to interpret it independently.

Reflecting on the unexpected success of the song ‘Lingi Lingi Lingidi,’ Rahul acknowledges its popularity, with internet users recreating the dance steps. The song’s success has contributed significantly to the film’s popularity.

Rahul Vijay also opens up about facing a road accident before the film commenced, leading to a four-month bedridden period. Fearing replacement, he expresses gratitude to Vidya akka and Vass garu for their understanding, as the shoot was postponed until his recovery.

Describing director Teja Marni as a brother, Rahul appreciates the experience of working with him, likening it to attending an acting workshop where he was encouraged to explore multiple approaches to scenes.
