Presented by India Joy and Flying Mountain Concepts, the Cinematic Expo event was grandly held at the Novatel Hotel in Hyderabad. The Cinematic Expo is an introduction platform to introduce the latest technology from 24 branches of the cinema industry. The latest technology in the fields of cinematography, production designing, VFX, and special effects was introduced this year. While Tollywood star hero King Nagarjuna was the chief guest for this program, famous director Nag Ashwin was the guest. Also present in this program were Telangana State Industries, Commerce, IT Departments Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Cinematica Expo Founder, Telugu Cinematography Association President PG Vinda, Roto Maker Founder Mike, Green Gold Cheap Marketing Head Bharat, Country Head for Technical Biren Ghose, Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Cinematographer PG Vinda, Nag Ashwin, Producer Supriya, Dancing Atom Creative Head, Founder Saraswati Vani and others participated.
On this occasion King Nagarjuna said, “Nowadays there are many technical changes coming day by day. I am glad to be invited to this event. We started Annapurna Studio in 1974. We wanted to do one shooting per month. Since then, there have been many developments. A lot has changed. Hyderabad will become the capital of the film industry. All over India is following South Films. Excellent directors like Nag Ashwin are showing their ability. We went all the way to the Oscars. India Joy’s graph is growing amazingly. Government of Telangana, Industries Minister KTR and Secretary Jayesh Ranjan are very supportive. Come here to learn about Gaming, Animation, VFX etc. Our Annapurna College also has courses. Director Nag Ashwin said, “Thanks for inviting me to the India Joy event. I also took animation courses. I went around VFX companies with stories. They ask why they don’t make films with Hollywood-like quality. But for the last ten years we have been making films with excellent quality. Hollywood people are also coming here. I tried to make Project K as a completely made in India movie with local VFX companies. I will make the next movie with the people here with better quality than Hollywood”, he said.
Telangana State Industries, Commerce and IT Department Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said, “When the new state was formed, the animation and gaming industry was not developed much. We brought that industry to this level. We have brought new policies. The policy brought in 2016 helped a lot. It is said that there are many policies in the country but they are not implemented. But we have implemented policies in our state,” he said.
KK Senthil said, “It is a pleasure to have such a program here. Hyderabad is developing in all fields. “Cinematica and India Joy doing this program together will make many people aware of movies, VFX, and animation,” he said.
PG Vinda said, “Without movies, we have no life. India Joy needs to undertake more such programs. In terms of technology, everyone should be made aware. Everyone should come here and increase awareness about technology,” he said.
Biren Goes Country Head for Technical. It is a pleasure to participate in this event organized by India Joy for the sixth time. Telangana is doing a great job in implementing the policies. We are getting great support from the government. Everyone now understands that animation, VFX, and cinematography are all one industry.’ He said.
Roto Maker founder Mike said.. ‘India Joy Aro event is being organized in such a grand manner. Thanks to KTR and Jayesh Ranjan who contributed to this. Speakers came from the International level. Discussions are going to be held about animation, VFX, and cinematography,’ he said.
Ashish Kulkarni said the gaming, VFX and animation industry has been developing for the last ten years. “Government policies, KTR, and Jayesh Ranjan have helped a lot,” he said.
Saraswati Vani said, ‘My father started animation in 1984. He wanted to win an Oscar. I wanted to be a film director when I was a child and now we are achieving many great achievements because of the Telangana government.
