Karan Johar Officially Joins Teja Sajja’s Mirai as Hindi Distributor

Tollywood’s young star Teja Sajja, who created nationwide waves with his blockbuster HanuMan, now prepares for his next big venture, Mirai. The large-scale fantasy-adventure drama, directed by Karthik Gattamneni, will bring Teja back into the superhero zone as a Super Yodha.

The latest major update reveals that Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has officially joined the project to distribute the film across Hindi-speaking markets. This collaboration will give Mirai a massive push in the North Indian belt with aggressive promotions ahead of its September 5, 2025 worldwide release.

Karan Johar’s Backing to Boost Pan-India Reach

The makers of Mirai held talks with Karan Johar for months before finalizing the deal. Dharma Productions has now acquired the Hindi distribution rights for a handsome price, ensuring the film reaches theaters across North India.

Dharma’s history of distributing South Indian blockbusters like the Baahubali series, The Ghazi Attack, and Devara: Part 1 shows that Mirai could gain strong traction among Hindi audiences. Sources confirm that the makers hosted a special screening for Karan Johar, and he joined the project after the visuals and scale impressed him.

Story, Cast, and Crew Details

Mirai combines ancient mythology with cutting-edge modern visual effects to create a visually grand cinematic experience. Teja Sajja leads the film as Super Yodha, while Manchu Manoj plays Black Sword, the menacing antagonist. Ritika Nayak stars as the female lead, and the supporting cast includes Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu.

TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad produce the film under the People Media Factory banner. Director Karthik Gattamneni, who also serves as the cinematographer, brings his signature style of rich visuals and fast-paced storytelling to the project.

Promotions and Release Plans

The makers of Mirai started creating buzz with the first teaser in May 2025, which captured nationwide attention. Recently, they added more excitement to the promotions by launching the upbeat first single Vibe Undi, composed by Gowra Hari. The film will release in 2D and 3D formats across eight Indian and international languages to maximize its audience reach.
