India Clinch T20 Series Against South Africa in Dramatic Finish

Team India sealed the five-match T20 series against South Africa, rounding off the tour on a winning note after losing the Test series and claiming the ODI series earlier. The fifth and final T20, held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat, turned into a thrilling high-scoring encounter.

However, the momentum shifted dramatically after that point. India’s bowlers tightened their lines and lengths, sparking a sudden collapse in the South African batting order. Wickets fell at regular intervals, halting the chase and swinging the match back in India’s favour.

Despite the strong start, South Africa could manage only 201 runs by the end of their 20 overs. India held their nerve to secure the win and clinch the series, extending South Africa’s long wait for a T20 series victory over India, which now stretches beyond a decade.
