“Having Vijay in Life is a Blessing,” says Rashmika

It all began with Geetha Govindam the film that sparked a magical onscreen romance between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. Since then, the duo has shared screen space in several movies, and their bond has only grown stronger over the years. Now, the much-loved Geetha-Govindam pair seems to be turning their reel-life chemistry into a real-life relationship, as reports suggest that Vijay and Rashmika are all set to become life partners.

During the success celebrations of The Girlfriend, both Vijay and Rashmika shared heartfelt words about each other, winning over the hearts of everyone present.

Speaking at the event, Vijay praised Rashmika’s journey both personally and professionally.
“I’ve seen her growth over the years. While I’m aggressive by nature, Rashmika is filled with kindness and compassion. One day, the world will truly see who she really is. The Girlfriend isn’t just a movie it’s a purpose. I’m proud that Rash has come up with a film that inspires and empowers so many,” Vijay said.

In response, Rashmika expressed her admiration and gratitude, saying, “Having Vijay in life is a blessing. It applies to anyone who has him in their life.” She added that Vijay had been a part of The Girlfriend’s journey from the very beginning and that his presence is always special.

The Vijay–Rashmika pairing first created waves with the blockbuster Geetha Govindam, followed by Dear Comrade and Family Star. Though the latter films didn’t achieve the same box office success, the duo is all set to reunite once again on screen. Their upcoming project, a period drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is expected to go on floors soon.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna secretly got engaged last month. If reports are to be believed, the couple will tie the knot on February 26, 2026, in a grand ceremony at a luxurious palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The pair is yet to make an official announcement confirming the news.
