Producer S Naga Vamsi, who is related to the producer of ‘Guntur Kaaram’, feels that its very title and marketing were off the mark. Speaking to a media house, Naga Vamsi tried to analyze the marketing failure a bit.
“We shouldn’t have chosen ‘Guntur Kaaram’ as the title for a class movie. Also, we should have set the expectations right (about the family-friendly nature of the script),” he said. The film was produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations.
Naga Vamsi was primarily responsible for letting the expectations of Mahesh Babu’s fans go wild. In interview after interview, before the release of the Sankranthi release, he kept saying that ‘Guntur Kaaram’ will finish all non-SS Rajamouli records.
Naga Vamsi awaits the release of ‘Lucky Baskhar’ on October 31st. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary and others, the pan-Indian movie’s Trailer will be released soon. The Diwali release is directed by Venky Atluri. Its music is by GV Prakash Kumar.
