Ganga Entertainments’ inaugural production, titled Production No. 1, commenced its filming journey with actor Ashwin Babu in the lead role. The project was officially inaugurated through a pooja ceremony held on Sunday. Maheshwar Reddy Mooli is producing the film under the Ganga Entertainments banner, with Apsar taking on the directorial responsibilities.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including prominent producers Sudhakar Reddy, ‘Tagore’ Madhu, Sirish Reddy, and Errabelli Vijay Kumar Rao. The ceremonial aspects were enriched by the involvement of esteemed directors, with Subbu, director of ‘Solo Brathuke So Better,’ initiating the camera, and Vijay Kanakamedala, director of ‘Naandhi,’ commencing the first clap. Vasisshta Mallidi, the director of ‘Bimbisara,’ directed the inaugural scene, while director-producer Omkar presented the script.
Expressing his enthusiasm, producer Maheshwar Reddy remarked, “I am delighted to collaborate with Ashwin Babu on this project. Following his recent success with ‘Hidimbha,’ we aim to captivate the audience with a unique narrative. This film embodies a contemporary storyline and screenplay. Our regular shooting begins on Monday, with the first schedule scheduled to take place in Hyderabad. We have assembled a talented cast and crew, and further details will be disclosed shortly.”
The female lead in the movie is portrayed by Digangana Suryavanshi, opposite Ashwin Babu, and ‘Hyper’ Aadi plays a significant role. The film boasts a skilled team, including editor Chhota K Prasad, production designer Sahi Suresh, music director Vikas Badisa, and director of photography Dasaradhi Sivendra. The movie is produced by Maheshwar Reddy Mooli, under the direction of Apsar.
