Gaddar’s daughter, Vennela, took center stage as she launched the trailer and songs of the upcoming film “Ukku Satyagraham,” carrying the impactful slogan, “Visakha Ukku Andhralu Hakku.” Directed by Satya Reddy Garu, the event witnessed the presence of esteemed personalities such as Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina, MLA Dharmashree, Gaddar Vennela, former Film Chamber chairman BV Reddy, industrialist Rajeev, and producer Dasari Kiran.
During the launch, Vennela Garu, daughter of the iconic Gaddar, expressed her pride and admiration for her father’s selfless contributions to society. She highlighted Gaddar’s dedication to addressing the people’s issues through his songs, even during the challenging times of the pandemic. Vennela Garu emphasized Gaddar’s active involvement in the film, not only writing songs but also acting in it, aligning with his consistent commitment to public causes.
Bus conductor and singer Jhansi Garu shared her thoughts on the movie, noting the expanding influence of social media and its role in shaping public opinion. She commended “Ukku Satyagraham” for its potential to address societal problems and expressed gratitude to Director Satya Reddy for providing her with an opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful project.
Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina Garu conveyed his admiration for Gaddar Garu, acknowledging his multifaceted talents as a writer, singer, actor, and leader. Despite being a commercial director, Nakkina Garu expressed his affinity for films centered around social movements and public issues. He extended his gratitude to Satya Reddy for involving him in the event and wished the film great success.
MLA Dharmashree Garu, representing Visakhapatnam (Chodavaram), wished Director Satya Reddy a happy birthday and expressed her joy at being part of the film. She praised the movie’s focus on the steel satyagraha, showcasing the sacrifices made by the people of the Telugu states regarding Visakhapatnam steel issues. Dharmashree Garu lauded Gaddar Garu’s involvement in the film, highlighting his role as a writer, singer, and leader fighting for people’s problems.
Director Satya Reddy shared the inspiration behind making “Ukku Satyagraham,” citing his deep connection with Gaddar. Gaddar’s fatherly influence and ability to connect with people of all ages fueled Reddy’s motivation to create this film.
