In line with his commitment to transform government schools into par with private institutions, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh has introduced yet another inspiring initiative aimed at enriching students’ learning experiences.
Under the ‘Mana Badi – Mana Bhavishyattu’ program, the state government has been strengthening school infrastructure with additional classrooms and modern facilities. Taking this vision a step further, Lokesh ensured that a group of government school students embarked on their first-ever flight journey to New Delhi, fully sponsored by the government.
The students, traveling by IndiGo, will spend two days in the national capital, visiting prominent institutions such as the National Science Museum, Nehru Planetarium, and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. The educational tour is designed to give them hands-on exposure to the fields of Science and Technology. Lokesh expressed confidence that the trip would expand their practical knowledge, fuel curiosity, and inspire them to dream bigger.
Beyond academics, such initiatives help students gain exposure to new environments, fostering adaptability, confidence, and a broader worldview. For many, this trip symbolizes a “window to a new world,” offering lessons beyond textbooks and classrooms.
Lokesh, who has already won public appreciation for initiatives like attracting major investments to Andhra Pradesh and generating employment for youth, continues to champion educational reforms that empower the next generation.
