Dhanush’s 50th movie as an actor is also his second movie, after Power Paandi, as a director releasing on 26th July.
Just 10 days ahead of its release, the makers of Raayan has released the trailer of Raayan. The trailer reveals Raayan as a revenge-taking action hero against SJ Suryah. Dhanush plays a small-time goon in Raayan along with Sandeep Kishan, along with Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
Another important character in the film is Dhanush’s own brother Selvaraghavan playing as his elder brother in the movie too. He mentors Raayan: ““If they face each other one-on-one, the lion will beat the wolf. But a wolf is very intelligent. They come as a pack, round the lion up and then destroy it.”
The movie was certified with ‘A’ (only adults) certificate. Although the makers have released the trailer in Telugu, the distributor for Telugu was not announced, leaving the room for speculations about its release on 26th July.
