Dhanush, Arun Matheswaran, T.G. Thyagarajan, and Sathya Jyothi Films’ highly anticipated project, “Captain Miller,” has successfully obtained a U/A censor certificate, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The Pan India film, starring the National Award-winning superstar Dhanush and directed by Arun Matheswaran, has concluded all necessary formalities and is set to hit theaters worldwide on January 12th, 2024, coinciding with the Pongal festivities.
“Captain Miller” unfolds as a period action drama, immersing viewers in the pre-independence era, promising to captivate audiences of all age groups. Presented by T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films, the high-budget entertainer is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan.
The film boasts a stellar soundtrack composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with the initial two songs garnering a tremendous response, creating a buzz among eager fans. The teaser has also made waves, adding to the anticipation surrounding the release.
Co-produced by G. Saravanan and Sai Siddharth, “Captain Miller” features Priyanka Mohan as the lead actress, with Sundeep Kishan making an extended cameo appearance and Dr. Shiva Rajkumar playing a pivotal role. Siddhartha Nuni serves as the cinematographer, while GV Prakash Kumar takes on the role of the music director. T Ramalingam contributes as the production designer, and Madhan Karky, known for his work in films like the Baahubali franchise, RRR, and Pushpa, has penned the dialogues for the Tamil version. Editing is skillfully handled by Nagooran.
The film is set to release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages, offering a diverse cinematic experience to a wide audience.
