DCM Pawan Kalyan Orders Stern Action Against Illegal Gambling Rackets

The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, has taken serious note of the rising complaints about illegal gambling operations across the state. These unlawful activities, which reportedly flourished under the previous YSRCP regime, include the operation of underground rummy clubs and betting dens allegedly managed by politically connected individuals.

According to sources, the Deputy Chief Minister’s Office has received a flood of complaints from multiple districts, highlighting the unchecked spread of gambling centers. There are widespread allegations that some influential figures have been running these operations by bribing local officials on a monthly basis to avoid scrutiny.

Responding swiftly, Pawan Kalyan has ordered a detailed probe into the issue and directed the State DGP to collect ground-level intelligence and submit a comprehensive report on all gambling-related activities. The report is expected to include the measures taken so far by law enforcement agencies and any lapses in enforcement.

The NDA government, under Pawan Kalyan’s supervision, is determined to wipe out all forms of gambling both online and offlinefrom the state. The Deputy CM’s direct involvement in the matter has raised hopes of a swift and effective crackdown.

With the new administration committed to restoring law and order, strong action against the illegal gambling networks is anticipated in the coming days.
