The Release Trailer of ‘Darling’ is out. In the main Trailer, the takeaway was that Nabha Natesh’s role is that of an ‘Aparichitudu’-type wife (read split personality disorder). In the latest Trailer, the takeaway is that we have to expect humour inspired/popularized by social media debates and wars. Towards the end, comedian Krishna Teja tells the male lead (Priyadarshi Pulikonda) that his wife is going beyond the eccentricities normalized by ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Touted to be an out-and-out entertainment, the film is directed by Aswin Raam, a Tamilian. In a recent interview, he said that ‘Darling’ will have complex characters, not unidimensional or black-and-white types.
Ananya Nagalla has a unique role in the film, the makers added recently. Also starring Brahmanandham, Moin, Shiva Reddy, Muralidhar Goud, Kalynee Raj, Sunitha Manohar, and others, the film is produced by Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of ‘HanuMan’ fame.
Release date of the romantic entertainer: July 19th, 2024
Early premieres?: Likely to be held on July 18th night in the Telugu States.
