Chiyaan Vikram Declines SSMB29 Role, Here’s the Real Reason Why

Tollywood fans continue to buzz with excitement as SSMB29, the jungle adventure film starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and directed by SS Rajamouli, progresses rapidly. With a massive budget of Rs 1000 crore, the film promises to become one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema.

The team already completed two major shooting schedules, one in Hyderabad and the other in Odisha. Today, the crew begins the third phase of filming with even greater expectations.

Vikram Rejects Role in SSMB29

According to fresh reports, Kollywood star Chiyaan Vikram recently received an offer to play a major role in SSMB29, likely the main antagonist. However, Vikram turned down the offer. Sources close to the actor confirm that he currently prefers to focus on heroic and central characters rather than negative roles.

Makers Now Eye R. Madhavan

After Vikram declined the role, SS Rajamouli’s team immediately approached Tamil actor R. Madhavan. Known for his wide range of performances, Madhavan continues to consider the offer. The filmmakers clearly aim to bring in top-tier talent from various Indian film industries, highlighting the film’s pan-India approach.

Big Names Already on Board

The SSMB29 team already brought onboard global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Though the makers haven’t revealed their character details, their presence has stirred major excitement among fans.

Film Production and Scale

The production team designed a massive jungle-themed set at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad to shoot the film’s initial scenes. After completing the Hyderabad schedule, the crew flew to Odisha, where they filmed several crucial sequences. After a short summer break, the team has returned to Hyderabad and resumed shooting.

Producer KL Narayana, under the Durga Arts banner, is financing the project on a grand scale. MM Keeravani, the Oscar-winning composer, is creating the music, promising a powerful and emotionally rich soundtrack to match the film’s epic scale.

With Mahesh Babu leading the cast and SS Rajamouli at the helm, SSMB29 looks set to redefine Indian cinema. Vikram’s refusal to take up the antagonist role only adds more suspense and curiosity about who will finally join the star-studded lineup.
