The exit polls have predicted the win of the grand alliance, consisting Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena Party and Bharatiya Janata Party in both assembly and parliamentary elections.
The incumbent YSRCP is expected to lose, according to the exit polls, after its grand majority by winning 151 seats out of 175 seats in 2019’s assembly elections.
India Today’s Axis My India has predicted that while the TDP will get 78-96 seats, JSP 16-18 seats, and the BJP 4-6 seats and YSRCP is likely to get 55-77 seats out of total 175 assembly seats.
People’s Pulse exit poll has also predicted a win for the alliance with 111-135 seats while 45-60 seats would go to the ruling YSRCP.
However, The Grand Alliance is not the only that all exit polls are suggesting a clear win. There are other exit polls which are suggesting a clean sweep for Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP too.
The Centre for Politics and Policy Studies projected 95-105 seats for the YSRCP and 75-85 seats for the TDP-BJP-JanaSena alliance.
Aaraa Poll Strategies Private Limited predicted that the ruling party, YSRCP, will retain power by bagging 94-104 seats. It said that the opposition alliance may win 71-81 assembly seats. Atma Sakshi SAS also projected a win for YSRCP with a huge margin of 98-116 seats out of total 175 Seats.
The results for the Andhra Pradesh assembly election will be declared on June 4, along with the 2024 Lok Sabha poll results.
