Continuing this wave of recognition, the Andhra Pradesh government has extended special honors to Shree Charani Reddy, a talented young cricketer from Kadapa district, who played a crucial role in India’s championship-winning campaign.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT & Industries Minister Nara Lokesh met Shree Charani at the CM’s residence in Amaravati today to personally congratulate her on the remarkable achievement. The leaders also welcomed former Indian captain Mithali Raj, who accompanied the young star during the meeting.
Sharing the moment on social media, Minister Lokesh wrote:
“Honoured to welcome Indian women’s cricket star Shree Charani Reddy and former captain Mithali Raj to our residence in Amaravati. CM CBN garu and I congratulated Shree Charani on India’s glorious Women’s World Cup victory. Her achievement truly showcases the strength and spirit of Indian women.”
