A horrifying bus fire on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway has claimed the lives of at least 20 people, sending shockwaves across the region. Investigations are now revealing disturbing details about the incident that highlight multiple contributing factors.

According to reports, the bus was transporting mobile phones worth ₹46 lakh on behalf of a private dealer from Hyderabad. Preliminary findings suggest that the fire was exacerbated by the batteries of these mobile phones, which increased the intensity of the blaze and made the accident even more catastrophic.

Adding to the tragedy, authorities have arrested the bus driver, Miriyala Lakshmaiah. Reports indicate that Lakshmaiah, who studied only up to the 5th standard, had obtained a heavy vehicle license using fake 10th-class certificates.

Further complicating the scenario, a viral video shows a biker, who reportedly collided with the bus, appearing intoxicated while refueling at a nearby petrol station shortly before the accident.

Officials are continuing their investigation into the incident, as preliminary findings suggest that a combination of hazardous cargo, negligence, and external factors contributed to this tragic fire that claimed more than 20 lives.
