The ‘Arshad Warsi vs Prabhas’ fans’ row is becoming thicker by the day. Yesterday, Natural Star Nani said that Warsi has been given publicity by critics because of which even those who never knew of him are coming to learn about him.
Bollywood fan pages on social media have hit the accelerator mode. They are pulling out old video clips to hit back at the Telugu film industry. SS Rajamouli once opined that Hrithik Roshan was nothing compared with Prabhas’ style quotient in ‘Billa’. Was it not an insult, a Hrithik fan page asked.

Another page reminded everyone of how Malla Reddy, a Telugu politician who was a Minister, spoke rather “insultingly” of Bollywood at the pre-release event of ‘Animal’ in November 2023. “Ranbir, I want to tell you something. In the next five years, Telugu people will rule over India, Bollywood and Hollywood. You will also have to move to Hyderabad next year. Why? Because Mumbai is old now and Bengaluru has traffic jams. Hyderabad is the only city in India,” Malla Reddy said on the occasion. It was “nothing less than an insult to a guest”, Bollywood fans are saying.
