‘Atu itu kanodu’ is a comedy genre in Telugu cinema. After the ETV show ‘Jabardasth’, this brand of comedy has only been mainstreamed more than ever before.
In ‘Bhale Unnade’, Raj Tarun plays a sexually passive husband whose lack of masculinity makes him a laughing stock for others and a source of embarrassment for his wife. Director J Sivasai Vardhan makes the male protagonist the centrepiece of a comedy circus that occasionally descends into a below-the-belt zone.
VTV Ganesh and Hyper Aadi can be expected to crack a series of double meaning jokes. Srikanth Iyengar plays a fake Baba who claims to endow manhood with virility.

Featuring Manisha Kandkur as Raj Tarun’s wife, the film will arrive at the cinemas on September 7th.
‘Ek Mini Katha’, the Amazon Prime release, handled a taboo subject previously; its male lead had a ‘size’ problem. ‘Bhale Unnade’ has its task cut out.
