Actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has strongly warned the public about a fraudulent event that misuses his name for fake fundraising. He clearly stated that the event titled “Bangaru Balayya – Basavatarakam Event”, organized by Mr. Ashwin Atluri, has no connection with him or the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, where he serves as Chairman.

In an official statement, Balakrishna directly exposed the event as unauthorized and misleading. He said, “I have not approved this event, and the Hospital’s Trust Board has not sanctioned it either.” He accused the organizers of using his name and the hospital’s identity without permission. Balakrishna assured everyone that the hospital announces genuine fundraising activities only through verified platforms, including the official website, recognized social media pages, and the hospital office.
