Another Angle of Balayya With ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’

After the success of ‘Akhanda’ and ‘VeeraSimhaReddy’ Namdamuri Balakrishna geared up with his latest movie ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ released on Oct 19, 2023, as a Dasara festive season special. Bhagavanth Kesari (Balakrishna) paired opposite Kajal Agarwal, and Vijju (Sri Leela) in a prominent role with Rahul Sanghvi (Arjun Rampal) as protagonist, Directed by ‘Anil Raavipudi’.

Plot : 

The entire plot revolves around Bhagavanth Kesari, who serving a jail term and befriended by a jailer (Sarat Kumar). Later after getting out of jail lives with Vijji and convinces her to train to get into the Indian Army.

However, due to the phobia, Vijji refuses to get into the Army she pleads to Bhaghavanth Kesari that she is not capable of doing so. But in turn, she was insisted to continue with her tough training.

On the other hand CM’s secretary is on the run from Rahul Sanghvi, a mafia don, and due to circumstances saves an important file on Vijji’s laptop, and Rahul Sangvi’s men are on the trail of Vijji.

Can Bhagavanth Kesari save Vijji from the clutches of the mafia? What exactly does Vijji mean to Kesari? Why did Kajal approach Kesari? What was that file saved on Vijji’s laptop by CM’s secretary? And why mafia need that file? is the crux of the story.

Performances:

This is entirely a one-man show of Balayya, his emotional and action elements are regularly touched but this flick showcased the Comic-timing of Balayya.

Sree Leela has done her role of a middle-class girl struggling with her life and justified her role.

Kajal and others did subtle acting to their corresponding roles.

Anil Raavipudi leaving his comedy zone, did a good emotional film and succeeded in it.

Technical Aspects:

The direction and screenplay are up to regular standards.

Music by S S Thaman is good and the BGM’s are excellent.

The cinematography is between okay and above par.

Conflicts involving around Girl’s life.

Regular story-line.

This Balayya film attracts mostly family audiences rather than Hardcore fans who like to watch extravaganza from Balayya Babu.
