Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu Check on Sritej’s Health at Asian Transcare Centre

By TeluguFunda / May 5, 2025

Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu visited Asian Transcare Rehabilitation Centre on Monday morning to check on Sritej, the young boy who suffered injuries during the Pushpa 2 stampede at Sandhya 70MM Theatre in Hyderabad. This visit marked an important step in his recovery, as doctors recently discharged him from KIMS Hospital and shifted him to the neurorehabilitation center for further treatment.

The producers spent time with the doctors at the rehab centre and directly asked about Sritej’s current health. The doctors confirmed that Sritej shows steady signs of recovery. He now eats food by mouth, breathes without oxygen support, and responds well to the therapy.

Pushpa 2 Stampede: A Tragic Incident That Shook Everyone

The Sandhya Theatre stampede took place on December 4, 2024, during a special screening of Pushpa 2. The chaos caused the tragic death of a woman named M. Revathi, while her nine-year-old son Sritej lost consciousness in the rush and suffered serious injuries. His family immediately rushed him to KIMS Hospital, where he received intensive care for several months. On April 29, the doctors decided that he had recovered enough to move to a rehabilitation centre for continued neuro-treatment.

Allu Arjun Extends Ongoing Support to Sritej’s Family

From the beginning, Allu Arjun, along with Allu Aravind, Bunny Vasudirector Sukumar, and Mythri Movie Makers producers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, supported Sritej and his family without hesitation. They paid all medical bills and also gave the family financial help.

Allu Arjun constantly stayed involved in Sritej’s treatment and asked Aravind and Vasu to visit regularly and update him. Even after Sritej moved to the rehab centre, Allu Arjun continued to monitor his progress and assured the family that he would support Sritej until he fully recovers and returns to school—and even after that, if needed.

Hope for a Full Recovery

After meeting Sritej, Allu Aravind expressed strong hope and confidence that the boy will soon return to a normal life. The doctors also sounded positive and said that Sritej reacts well to treatment and makes good progress.

This steady care from the film team highlights their genuine concern for the victims of the stampede. Fans and well-wishers continue to pray and hope for Sritej’s full recovery.
