Alcohol Teaser: Allari Naresh Turns Dark in Crime-Filled New Year Thriller

The teaser of Allari Naresh’s upcoming film Alcohol is finally out, and it promises a twisted ride of crime, humor, and chaos. The makers have confirmed a New Year’s Day release, January 1, 2026, making this the first big Telugu film to hit screens in 2026. The tagline, “When there’s a high, there’s a price,” sets the tone for a gripping crime thriller with dark humor.

A Glimpse Into Alcohol’s Story

The teaser opens with Satya questioning Naresh’s character, a wealthy businessman, about why he avoids drinking despite his rich lifestyle. Naresh coolly replies, “I don’t like Alcohol controlling my mind.” Soon, irony strikes. He commits crimes far more dangerous than drinking, slapping and stabbing Satya’s character, dancing through the streets, and plotting the murder of an entire party crowd.

The teaser then moves to an eccentric party sequence where Secret Sharath (Harshavardhan), Sound Sundar (Girish Kulkarni), twins Ramesh and Suresh (Kireeti Damaraju, Venkatesh Kakumanu), Subash (Chaitanya Krishna), and Sanya (Ruhani Sharma) join the chaos. Naresh delivers a chilling declaration, he will kill them after they drink, leaving the teaser on a shocking note and pushing viewers to wonder what his real motive is.

Stylish Presentation and Powerful Team

Alcohol bursts with neon-lit frames, thumping Punjabi rap, and Ghibran’s music that raises the adrenaline. Chaitan Bharadwaj builds the tension with his gripping background score, perfectly balancing crime and comedy. Jiju Sunny captures the film with striking cinematography, and Niranjan Devaramane sharpens the pace with slick editing.

Meher Tej, who directed the dark comedy Family Drama, writes and directs Alcohol. S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya produce it under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Venkat Upputuri serving as co-producer.
