The long wait to witness Megastar Chiranjeevi in his complete mass and entertainment avatar has finally ended with Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu, which is setting the Sankranti box office ablaze. As the film continues its impressive run at the ticket counters, Chiranjeevi has already delivered what can be termed another “mega victory” this time in the form of an exciting offer to director Anil Ravipudi.
During a post-release promotional interview featuring Chiranjeevi, Anil Ravipudi, and Venkatesh, which was released today, the Megastar dropped strong hints about another collaboration with Anil in the near future. Chiru openly expressed his interest in working with the director again and even offered to play either a special role or a full-fledged character alongside Venkatesh. Venky, in turn, responded positively, making the moment all the more exciting for fans.
Chiranjeevi’s enthusiasm for another collaboration with Anil Ravipudi was evident, as he urged the filmmaker to direct the project and appeared genuinely thrilled about teaming up once again. For now, Venkatesh is busy with Adarsa Kutumbam, followed by Drushyam 3. However, industry circles are already buzzing with speculation about a possible reunion film slated for the 2027 Sankranti season.
Reports suggest that this upcoming project could be a sequel to the blockbuster Sankrantiki Vastunnam. Given the massive success Chiranjeevi achieved under Anil Ravipudi’s direction, the Megastar seems keen to repeat the winning formula. Interestingly, Venkatesh had earlier made a cameo appearance in Chiru’s MSVG, and this new collaboration could be Chiranjeevi’s way of returning the favour.
If materialized, a film featuring Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh under Anil Ravipudi’s direction could be a perfect recipe for a major blockbuster. With the potential to arrive during a festive season, this dream combination may turn out to be one of the biggest cinematic highlights of 2026 or 2027, should everything fall into place.
