Action King Arjun’s daughter, Aishwarya Arjun, recently got engaged to the young hero Umapathy Ramaiah, son of veteran Kollywood actor and director Thambi Ramaiah. The engagement ceremony took place at the grand Hanuman Temple in Chennai, which was built by Arjun himself. Close relatives from both families graced the occasion.
Arjun Sarja, the proud father, shared that Aishwarya and Umapathi’s wedding is scheduled for March or April 2024 following this engagement. Arjun Sarja also informed the media that while the engagement was an intimate affair, the wedding would be a more elaborate celebration, with invitations extended to a wider circle of friends and well-wishers.
For the engagement ceremony, Umapathi Ramaiah donned an outfit designed by the renowned Mumbai-based designer, Manish Malhotra. Aishwarya Arjun’s attire, on the other hand, was designed by Jayanthi Reddy. Aishwarya wore rings adorned with a 5-carat Burmese ruby, diamonds, and white gold, while Umapathi sported gold and diamond ruby accessories.
The engagement rings were exchanged in the divine presence of Lord Rama’s idol at the Hanuman Temple, making the event all the more special and auspicious for the couple. The engagement marked the beginning of their journey towards a lifetime of togetherness.
