3 Million Followers in Days: Reservation Hatao Movement Gains Momentum

A new social media movement titled ‘Reservation Hatao Andolan’ has gone viral, reigniting one of India’s most sensitive and long-standing political and social debates. Within just a few days of its launch, the campaign’s Instagram page has reportedly crossed 3 million followers, drawing widespread attention from social media users and the mainstream media alike.

The movement, led by an anonymous group, claims to have no affiliation with any political party. Its primary demand is the removal of caste-based reservations in public life while advocating that government benefits should instead be provided to people based on genuine economic and social need rather than caste alone.
