In ‘Lucky Baskhar’, Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary play a husband-wife duo. The song ‘Srimathi Garu’ from the movie is a tribute to their sweet, warm relationship.
Director Venky Atluri lets composer GV Prakash Kumar craft the song as a melody. Sung by the Vishal Mishra-Shwetha Mohan duo, the lyrics have been written by Shreemani.
The film’s story is set in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The ‘Sita Ramam’ hero plays an ordinary bank cashier who reaches fascinating heights in this financial crime thriller.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas, ‘Lucky Baskhar’ will be released in all major southern Indian languages (except Kannada) and Hindi.
The film’s release date has been reconsidered. September 27th (2024) was locked but there will be a change with Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’ choosing the same date.
