Anand Deverakonda has said that he had little opportunity to showcase his dancing skills until now. Almost all of his films required him to be real and the scope for dancing was non-existent. Even a teen love story like ‘Baby’ didn’t offer him the scope because the treatment was naturalistic.
In ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’, Anand will be seen dancing for the first time besides doing over-the-top comedy. “The film has allowed me to truly dance for the first time. The choreography was cinematic,” he says.
Anand reveals that his brother Vijay Deverakonda has always encouraged him to practice dancing. “Even as a kid, I would mimic the moves of actors. My dad even used to say I had natural grace,” the ‘Middle Class Melodies’ actor says.
‘Gam Gam Ganesha’ is directed by newcomer Uday Shetty. The film is arriving at the cinemas on May 31st (Friday).
