’35-Chinna Katha Kaadu’ is going to arrive at the cinemas on September 6th. Suresh Productions, S Originals, and Waltair Productions have decided to open the film in theatres with premieres on September 4th evening. The film is directed by debutant Nanda Kishore Emani.
In his latest interview, producer Srujan Yarabolu of S Originals says that he chose to bankroll the film with the intent of making something that stands the test of time. “I listened to hundreds of stories and zeroed in on five. When I transitioned from film distribution to production, the idea was to make movies that would be remembered for a long time. Films like ‘Journey’, ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Sita Ramam’ are highly regarded. Likewise, ’35-Chinna Katha Kaadu’ will be remembered for the next ten years,” says Srujan.

“There is nothing more superior than the mother sentiment element in our movies. The same has worked out beautifully in ’35’. A star hero, after watching our movie, opined that ’35’ will attract audiences to theatres regardless of their age,” Srujan reveals. The film stars Nivetha Pethuraj and Vishwadev as a couple. “Priyadarshi’s character is beautifully etched,” the producer suggests.
The producer confidently predicts that ’35’ will become a Tollywood classic, comparing it to the impact of ‘Kantara’ on Kannada cinema, ‘Majummel Boys’ on Malayalam cinema, and ‘Maharaja’ on Tamil cinema.
Up next, Srujan is producing a movie starring Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba. He is also doing a sequel to ‘Gatham’.
