Suresh Productions’ and S Originals’ ’35-Chinna Katha Kaadu’ is scheduled to arrive at the cinemas on August 15th. Its Teaser is out.
Nivetha Thomas of ‘Brochevarevarura’ and ‘Vakeel Saab’ fame plays a regular housewife whose school-going kid is a dimwit. ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ actor Priyadarshi, who plays a school teacher, shames the child into securing at least pass marks (the number ’35’ in the title is about that). Vishwadev plays the child’s cool-going father and the lead actress’ husband.
Also featuring the versatile Gautami and Bhagyaraj, the film seems to be an aspirational drama set in a sleepy town. Director Nanda Kishore Emani’s treatment looks quite slice-of-life and also has a funny tone.
Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarabolu, and Siddharth Rallapalli are bankrolling this Telugu-Tamil-Malayalam release. Vivek Sagar has composed the songs and background score.
