Bandla Ganesh today said that he has plans to re-release ‘Teen Maar’, the 2011 movie which flopped at the box office. It was directed by Jayanth C Paranjee and was a remake of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (Hindi).
“It’s a million-dollar question why the film didn’t do well despite its solid content. When I watch it on TV, I wonder what really went wrong,” Ganesh said.
Ganesh added, “It is my wish to re-release it despite it being a flop. Upon its re-release, it will mint money.” On the occasion, the producer reiterated his loyalty to Pawan.
It was because ‘Teen Maar’ flopped that Trivikram Srinivas impressed upon Pawan Kalyan to make ‘Gabbar Singh’ with Ganesh as the producer. It was Pawan’s way of helping the producer of ‘Teen Maar’ recover money by doing another movie under his banner.
‘Gabbar Singh’, directed by Harish Shankar, will be re-released in theatres on September 2nd.
