Why Chiranjeevi Has a Bandage on His Arm: Megastar Shares Health Update

Megastar Chiranjeevi recently underwent a minor keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery on his right shoulder, putting an end to speculation about the bandage and arm sling he has been seen wearing over the past few days.

The procedure was successfully performed by renowned arthroscopy specialist Dr. Nithin. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chiranjeevi reassured his fans that there is absolutely no cause for concern and that he is recovering well.

Fans and well-wishers had grown worried after spotting the actor with an arm sling during a few public appearances. He was seen with the bandage when producer Allu Aravind and his family visited his residence to present the wedding invitation of Allu Sirish. He also appeared with the sling at events related to his eye and blood bank initiatives. Despite the visible discomfort, the Megastar greeted everyone with his trademark smile.

Sharing a picture with Dr. Nithin, Chiranjeevi wrote that many people had been asking about his health after noticing the bandage. He clarified that it was a minor shoulder keyhole surgery, which went smoothly under expert supervision. He expressed gratitude to the doctor for his care and added that he has already resumed his regular routine.

Even as he approaches his seventies, Chiranjeevi continues to maintain a packed schedule. He is currently working on the socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta. The film reportedly includes several high-voltage action sequences, which often put physical strain on actors, especially during stunt performances.

Sources suggest that such shoulder issues are not uncommon for stars involved in intense action shoots. Fortunately, the minor procedure has addressed the problem, and Chiranjeevi is expected to fully recover soon. He is likely to shift his focus toward post-production work and upcoming commitments with renewed energy.
