Weekend Box Office: Dude and K Ramp Emerge as Diwali Winners

Diwali 2025 falling on a Monday this year, the extended festive weekend turned into a prime opportunity for Telugu filmmakers. Four releases hit the screens Kiran Abbavaram’s K Ramp, Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Telusu Kada, Priyadarshi’s Mithra Mandali, and Pradeep Ranganthan’s Dude, a Tamil film backed by Tollywood’s leading banner, Mythri Movie Makers.

Among the four, Dude and K Ramp clearly stood out, both delivering impressive weekend numbers and emerging as the top performers at the box office. Despite receiving mixed reviews, these two films maintained strong collections throughout the festive frame.

On the other hand, Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Telusu Kada struggled to make an impact. The film opened to weak numbers and a largely disappointing response, marking yet another setback for the actor following Jack.

Priyadarshi’s Mithra Mandali, promoted as a light-hearted comic entertainer, also failed to strike a chord with audiences and was outright rejected.

Overall, Diwali 2025 turned out to be a mixed bag for Tollywood two films lighting up the festive box office, and two fading out without a spark.
