Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara returns to the spotlight with some exciting updates. After facing delays due to VFX problems, the film now inches closer to completion. Chiranjeevi recently watched 45 minutes of the redone CG footage and gave his approval. His encouraging feedback boosted the confidence of the entire team.

Final Phase of Shooting Nears Completion

Director Mallidi Vassishta, who earlier delivered the fantasy hit Bimbisara, leads this ambitious project. The team now needs to shoot just one special song and complete a few days of patchwork. Chiranjeevi has already promised to allocate the dates soon to wrap up the shoot.

The makers are reportedly planning to release the film on September 18, 2025, though an official announcement is still awaited. They intend to stick to this date even if Pawan Kalyan’s OG arrives a week later on September 25.

Mouni Roy Makes Her Telugu Debut

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy adds glamour to the film by making her Telugu debut in Vishwambhara. She will perform in a high-energy special song, composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, who earlier gave the hit Sankranthiki Vastunnam. This track will be an original number, not a remix. Mouni will likely impress fans again, just like she did in Gali Gali from KGF.

Music and Teaser Strategy

M.M. Keeravani, the Oscar-winning composer, has scored the main soundtrack. Meanwhile, Bheems Ceciroleo handles the music for the special dance number. The team has also started working on a new teaser. They plan to edit it in a punchy and engaging way to rebuild the hype that slowed down after the earlier VFX backlash.

Nostalgic Date Adds Emotional Buzz

Interestingly, September 18 marks the release anniversary of Chiranjeevi’s legendary film Indra (2002). This nostalgic connection has added another layer of excitement for fans, who now eagerly await Vishwambhara’s grand arrival.
