Industry reports claim that the makers plan to release the brand-new The Raja Saab trailer with the much-awaited Kantara: Chapter 1, which hits theatres on October 2, 2025. If this happens, it will be a clever marketing move because Kantara’s prequel will open on a massive scale across India and give The Raja Saab huge publicity before its release. Fans now wait for the makers to confirm this officially.

Director Rishab Shetty helms Kantara: Chapter 1, one of the most ambitious ventures from Hombale Films. The story unfolds during the Kadamba dynasty in Karnataka. The film promises grand visuals, including a historic war sequence that the makers filmed over 45–50 days with 500 fighters and 3,000 extras. With its huge scale and strong buzz across the nation, Kantara’s release offers the perfect launchpad for The Raja Saab trailer.
