By TeluguFunda / September 30, 2025

The much-awaited The Raja Saab trailer is finally out, giving fans a thrilling glimpse of Prabhas in a completely new avatar. Director Maruthi brings this horror fantasy entertainer to the big screens during Sankranthi on January 9, 2025. The film promises suspense, fun, and supernatural drama with an ensemble cast and striking visuals.

Prabhas’ Dual Shades and Haunted Mysteries

The trailer shows Prabhas as a carefree man who enters a haunted bungalow. He also deals with a psychological issue that forces him to face visions of ghosts and strange happenings. In a dramatic twist, he connects the spirit to his grandfather, which hints at a deeper family mystery.

Prabhas also appears in a second look, an older version of himself, sitting on a throne linked to Sanjay Dutt’s ghostly character. This mix of past and present creates a gripping story full of emotional and supernatural layers.

Sanjay Dutt and a Star-Studded Cast

The trailer highlights Sanjay Dutt as the ghost who shares a mysterious bond with Prabhas’ character. Boman Irani adds depth by playing a rare role that combines psychiatry, hypnosis, and exorcism. Zareena Wahab plays Prabhas’ grandmother, who prays to Goddess Durga for her grandson’s safety. Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar play the leading ladies, adding romance and drama to the fantasy tale.

Visuals, Music, and Special Elements

The film impresses with strong VFX work, showing Prabhas in larger-than-life sequences, including a powerful fight with a crocodile. The visuals deliver the charm of a fantasy adventure while maintaining a spooky yet fun tone. Thaman S creates the music, and the trailer even uses the retro hit Koi Yahan Nache Nache to build an eerie but playful vibe.

Director and Producer Speak

Director Maruthi said the movie blends grandeur with heartfelt emotions. He praised Prabhas for bringing unmatched energy to the role and shared his goal of entertaining families during the festive season. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad announced that the team created India’s largest horror set for the film, proving its scale and ambition.

Prabhas’ Fee and Release

Prabhas usually charges around Rs 150 crore per project. However, reports claim he agreed to Rs 100 crore for The Raja Saab. This change followed the lukewarm response to Adipurush, which the same production house backed.

The makers held 105 special screenings of the trailer across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, creating huge buzz. Fans now look forward to watching Prabhas in a lighter, joyful role compared to his recent serious outings. With all the excitement building up, The Raja Saab stands as one of the most anticipated releases of 2025.
