Prabhas’ latest release The Raja Saab has opened to a massive response at the global box office. The makers have officially announced that the horror-fantasy entertainer collected an impressive ₹112 crores gross worldwide on its opening day, marking the biggest Day 1 opening ever for an Indian horror-fantasy film.
With this feat, The Raja Saab becomes the sixth film of Prabhas to cross the ₹100-crore mark on its first day, following Baahubali 2, Saaho, Adipurush, Salaar, and Kalki 2898 AD. Notably, Prabhas stands tall as the only Indian actor to achieve six ₹100-crore openers, further reinforcing his unmatched box-office pull.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that ticket bookings were delayed in the Nizam region, traditionally one of Prabhas’ strongest markets. Despite this setback and mixed reviews, the film still crossed the ₹100-crore milestone, with the Telugu version contributing the major share of the collections.
The extraordinary opening of The Raja Saab once again highlights Prabhas’ mega stardom and his ability to draw audiences to theatres regardless of genre or critical reception.
