‘The Greatest of All Time’ throws a challenge at film critics

Thalapathy Vijay’s action thriller ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Co-starring Meenakshi Chaudhary and others, the film will arrive at the cinemas on September 5th.

AGS Entertainment’s CEO, Archana Kalpathi, has made an interesting remark ahead of the movie’s release. She said that the film is a typical VP screenplay (where VP stands for Venkat Prabhu) with fascinating twists and turns. “Film reviewers won’t be able to review ‘The GOAT’ without spoilers,” she said. She also requested the critics community to steer clear of spoilers as much as possible.

The film, whose music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has been made at a cost of Rs 380 Cr (including GST). Vijay’s remuneration is officially quoted to be Rs 200 Cr.

The makers have consciously desisted from hyping up too much about the movie. Bookings for the Tamil version are open. The Telugu version could see a relatively less-than-impressive start. Public talk will be crucial.
